“Oh my God, he’s actually trying. You were trying hard with that vocal,” Victoria, 47, said, as David Beckham, 46, sang Nat King Cole‘s “The Christmas Song” while sitting fireside in a Santa Claus hat. “Oh, I’m sorry … I’m sorry, Adele,” he cleverly quipped back, jokingly comparing his wife’s vocal range to that of the “Water Under the Bridge” singer.
Fans couldn’t seem to get enough of the banter on social media, writing things like, “Hahaha ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry…Adele’ brutal 😆😆,” and “[Do] I dare say he roasted you @victoriabeckham.”Instagram “I mean, his wife is an international pop star and icon,” a third person wrote. “😂😂😂 it’s cute that he’s trying 👏👏👏.”of her and David all dressed up for Christmas with their four kids – Brooklyn, 22, Romeo, 19, Cruz, 16, and Harper, 10.David and Victoria tied the knot in July 1999.
