The exact cause of the victim’s death is still unknown, after a post-mortem examination was found inconclusive

A young woman whose dismembered body was found in two suitcases in the Forest of Dean has been named as Phoenix Netts.

In a statement released by the force, her family said: ‘As a family we are devastated with what has happened to Phoenix. ‘We would also like to thank all the police officers involved in the investigation for their hard work and sensitivity.’Mahesh Sorathiya, aged 38, from Wolverhampton was charged with assisting an offender – Gordon.

Police had been alerted to the incident after a member of the public reported a vehicle’s erratic driving near Coleford.
