The Board of Trustees for the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation accepted the resignation of its vice chair Wednesday, months after questions sprouted up surrounding her ethical conduct.

No reason was given for her resignation, but Rubenstein was involved earlier this year in an internal investigation by the Permanent Fund Corporation surroundingbetween Rubenstein and companies and business associates. The Board of Trustees said in May that no external IT system breach had occurred after emails were leaked discussing claims of Rubenstein’s concerning behavior.on its website, Chair Jason Brune praised Rubenstein’s work during her time with the APFC.
