Viacom is buying the company that owns the rights to Garfield, as it looks for material to show on its cable networks and sell to streaming services
The entertainment company said on Tuesday it has acquired Paws, Inc., the holding company that owns the rights to the lasagna-loving cartoon cat Garfield.
