In addressing why it ditched Adsposure, VIA said, “Following months of discussion, we came to an impasse, and the contract was terminated with Adsposure owing more than $1 million.”Jason Klare, Adsposure’s director of sales, declined to elaborate on the dispute when reached for comment. “We are very sorry that our dispute with VIA is affecting your contract and business,” he said in the email. “Adsposure has reached out to VIA and offered to facilitate an orderly transition of the contract to the next advertising provider and to assign your contract so that your advertisements can remain in place.
Hearing no response from VIA, Villarreal & Begum filed an application for a temporary restraining order and motion for temporary injunction against VIA at about 9 p.m. Monday in state District Court in San Antonio in an attempt to keep the law firm’s ads in place.granted a TRO that directs VIA to refrain from removing the law firm’s advertisements. She also scheduled a hearing on the motion for temporary injunction for next Tuesday.
