As spoilt for choice as he was, it didn’t take long for the two-time Golden Boot winner to say yes when Kedah signalled their interest to sign him.
Few can dispute that, given how sought-after the Nigerian still is going by the many offers he has received since he became a free agent after leaving Melaka last year.
“I’ve a vision to win trophies with Kedah. I’ve yet to win a trophy in Malaysia, and I strongly hope I can do it with Kedah,’’ he said. “The Kedah fans are one of the best in Malaysia, so I’m really excited to play for them. I can’t wait to start,” said the lethal finisher, who has also featured for Selangor and Felda United.
