NORTHVALE, N.J. -- Character actor John Capodice, who numerous TV, stage and film credits included “General Hospital,” “Seinfeld,” and “Law & Order” and “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective,” has died at age 83.
Born in Chicago in 1941, Capodice turned to acting after military service in South Korea in the 1960s. His first television role was in the daytime soap “Ryan’s Hope,” where he appeared in six episodes as Lloyd Lord,Among his film credits is a role as a dismissive police officer in Jim Carrey’s 1994 pet detective movie,
