A vet has issued an urgent warning about the dangers of oil diffusers which could be fatal for some dogs.
Marrianne Whyte shared the story on Facebook, explaining how she assumed her dog had woken up from a dog and was experiencing night terrors. However, she found he was "still acting weird" the next day.The grandmother turned off her new diffuser which allowed her pet's condition to improve, but she didn't put two and two together straight away. So, she went on another night shift and had to return early after a concerning call from her dog sitter, reports the Mirror.
"I came from work early and again, he was very confused about who I was. So I took him to an emergency vet. It turns out that the tea tree oil I was using in the diffuser is toxic for dogs."
