Sunshine was abundant throughout the day, with no cooling showers or storms in sight. Friday evening remains mainly clear and warm with temperatures in the 80s. Friday night lows fall into the low 70s.
Father’s day weekend looks hot too. Temperatures soar into the upper 90s Saturday afternoon. The sky remains mostly sunny with no chance for a cooling shower or storm. Fortunately, peak heat indices likely remain below heat advisory criteria of 105°. Sunday looks hot too, with high temperatures in the mid 90s. Isolated showers or storms appear possible during the afternoon.
The heat backs down a bit next week. Isolated showers and storms remain possible Monday. Otherwise, more clouds may fill the sky. However, the rain chance still looks very low Tuesday through Thursday. Only a stray afternoon showers or storm appears possible each day. High temperatures look more reasonable for mid-June, mainly in the low 90s throughout the week.
