Melbourne Deputy Lord Mayor Nicholas Reece says Labor fell into the trap of claiming they’re going to do something big to help with the cost of living pressures.
“It’s much easier to say you’re going to do something about cost of living when you’re in opposition compared to government,” Mr Reece told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“Governments often get into the trap of claiming they’re going to do something big to help people with cost of living.
