Google’s landmark antitrust trial kicked off it’s second week on Monday.
He did not say why Verizon had not opened the bidding process to other companies, such as Microsoft.
“To the best of my knowledge, I believe it is pre-installed all the time,” Higgins added on the stand, referring to Google’s search engine on Verizon mobile devices. “This satisfies public interest because it’s at the core of the DOJ case against Google,” Dahlquist said.

Google is rolling out patches for a Pixel vulnerability.The patch is for all devices running Android 13, covering the Pixel 4a up (Verizon) or Pixel 6 and up (T-Mobile, Google Fi) in the US. That includes both the Pixel Tablet and Pixel Fold for Verizon customers. Google says the vulnerability “may be under limited, targeted exploitation,” indicating it’s not a widespread issue. The company doesn’t offer any information about the vulnerability itself.
