Venezuelan Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello has claimed that the opposition manipulates election results, preventing new elections in the country. This statement was made at an international far-left event and follows the July 28 presidential election, which was widely considered fraudulent.
Venezuela n Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello recently claimed that new elections in Venezuela will not take place due to the opposition allegedly manipulating results. He made this assertion at the opening of the 'World Congress of Anti-Fascist Youth and Students,' an international far-left event. Cabello accused the opposition of technologically manipulating the results of the July 28 presidential election, which was widely considered fraudulent.
The election was held under the socialist regime, with Nicolás Maduro claiming victory despite no credible voter data being published by the National Electoral Center (CNE). The genuine opposition candidate, Edmundo González, was the only one allowed to contest, and subsequent reports suggested he had won in a landslide. However, the CNE refused to publish any documentation to support Maduro's claimed victory. Cabello further stated that any future elections worldwide are at risk of fraudulent technological manipulation
