Millbrook Police Chief P.K. Johnson said officers with the Street Crimes Unit initiated a traffic stop on Coosada Parkway, north of Davis Drive.

Chief Johnson said the driver of the vehicle refused to stop and after turning onto Davis Drive, he nearly collided with a police vehicle while driving at speeds up to 60 mph. Jackson is charged with felony attempting to elude law enforcement, reckless endangerment and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
