Firefighters and police are responding to a vehicle fire and explosion just outside Trump International Hotel near the north end of the Las Vegas Strip Wednesday morning. A vehicle fire was first reported around 8:40 a.m. in the valet area of the hotel, a Clark County spokesperson confirmed. People posting to social media said they heard a loud noise and could see smoke coming from the area.
Another person shared video to X showing what appears to be a Cybertruck engulfed in flames directly outside the lobby of the Trump Hotel. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police confirmed they were investigating a vehicle fire, which has since been put out. No other information has been disclosed. It's unclear if any injuries were reported or what sparked the fire. A spokesperson for the FBI field office in Las Vegas said they have personnel on scene to help local agencies. Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo said his office is also coordinating with LVMPD and partner agencies on the response and would make sure they have any necessary resources
