A vehicle crash has shut down a major roadway in Franklin County. According to 511PA, a vehicle crash has shut down a portion of Interstate 81 southbound just south of Chambersburg at mile marker 14. The interstate is closed between Exit 16: U.S. 30- Lincoln Way and Exit 10: PA 914 Marion. All lanes are closed.
According to Franklin Fire Company, a tractor-trailer went over the bridge onto the railroad tracks with one person heavily entrapped inside. The public is asked to avoid the area if possible.
