A spokesperson with the Alaska State Troopers said troopers and emergency personnel were responding to a “serious crash” near Mile 77.5 of the Parks Highway north of Willow on Wednesday afternoon.
An accident slowed traffic on the Parks Highway near Willow Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 28, 2022. The highway was initially closed in both directions around Mile 77.5 around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to Alaska 511.
Tim DeSpain, a spokesperson with the Alaska State Troopers, said troopers and emergency personnel were responding to a “serious crash” in the area.Additional information, such as the number of vehicles involved and whether the crash resulted in injuries, was not immediately available from authorities.
