Vintage tees, favored by the A-list crowd in Madison Square Garden’s Celebrity Row, have become one of the most favored form of Game Day merch this year. Kylie Jenner, Timothee Chalamet, Spike Lee, Jordyn Woods and Jay-Z have all worn old-school Knicks tees — coveted collectibles that can resell for hundreds of dollars online. Thankfully, Vans and other brands have capitalized on the interest with their own orange-and-blue apparel.
Sportswear brand Homage has theirt donning the tweet-turned-chant heard ’round the city this week: “My mayor Muslim, my bagel Jewish, my Christian Dior, my Kicks in 4. ” Yes, after their loss on Monday night, that last line is no longer applicable but I have a feeling it won’t stop more than a few fashion-forward New Yorkers to make the purchase.
