A new poll suggests that former Trump administration official J.D. Vance and Donald Trump Jr. are gaining traction as potential candidates for the 2028 presidential election. Both have strong support within the Republican party, with Vance at 27% and Trump Jr. at 21%. The poll also highlights the popularity of Trump Jr. among younger voters and the MAGA crowd.

“It’s still very early and there’s a lot of tough policy work that needs to be done to grow the economy and secure America, but a ticket of Vice President Vance and Donald Trump Jr. would be very formidable,” pollster John McLaughlin told Secrets. McLaughlin’s survey showed that only Gov. Ron DeSantis , with 8% support, would be a threat to either Don Jr. or Vance.While rare over America’s 248 years, a son following his father into the White House did happen recently when President George W. Bush was elected eight years after his father, George H.W.
