Having already managed and been successful with PSV in his homeland, it is unlikely Van Nistelrooy would revert back to a background role at any other club, but the former hero’s history at Man United does change the picture.This could go some way to persuading Van Nistelrooy to take the job should he be offered it, with a lucrative salary package expected on the table.whilst in Eindhoven, as his managerial stock began to steadily rise before his departure last year.
