Virgil van Dijk 'back to his best' as he follows up FIFA XI award with goal in Liverpool win LFC
Virgil van Dijk looked ‘back to his best’ as he scored in a crucial Liverpool win over Wolves.
Shortly after, Mohamed Salah doubled the score to settle a match that finished 2-0, but the Egyptian, who netted his 20th goal of the season, couldn’t take anything away from Van Dijk crucially making the difference. He helped Liverpool to their fourth Premier League clean sheet in four games, which will be crucial in their chase for a top four finish.
“He’s had a lot of criticism of late but has looked back to his best tonight,” said talkSPORT commentator Joe Shennan.
