A Northeast Ohio man says a landscaping contractor took his money and never started a project he agreed to do.

VALLEY VIEW, Ohio - “This whole time all he’s done is said, ‘I’m going to do this... I am going to that,’ He’s never done one thing,” said Studebaker.

According to Studebaker, DeCesare said he could install the pool by June. Studebaker handed over a $14,500 down payment on March 1. On July 12, DeCesare reached out to Studebaker via text telling him he is unable to start the project and he will refund his money. It’s been over a month and Studebaker says he hasn’t got any money in his pocket.19 Investigates called DeCesare. He confirmed he never started the job.

“She decided to go with someone else. I just have to give it back, that’s the only downfall on that one,” said Studebaker.
