Bertinelli, 64, started a long-distance relationship with Goodnough, a writer who is ten years her junior, in January. The former Food Network star lives in Los Angeles, while Goodnough lives on the East Coast.earlier this year that the pair became friendly a few years ago after Goodnough commented on one of her Instagram posts.
“We finally said, ‘Why are we doing this? It’s going to be challenging because it’s long distance but why not? You only live once,” said Bertinelli, adding that they met up in NYC in March for a romantic weekend together. “He would like to think he’s complicated and brooding, but he’s thoughtful and kind and ridiculously talented,” she went on. “He’s an amazing writer. He’s gorgeous, like so hot. He does it for me. We all have our type, like he’s just hot.”
