UVALDE , Texas - Police in Uvalde are partnering with the Department of Justice Cops’ Office for a comprehensive reform initiative.
This initiative comes after the department adopted a new, comprehensive active shooter response plan, and enhanced safety training, in the wake of the Robb Elementary School Massacre.Uvalde has been shaken in the past few months, with a Uvalde ISD School board member, as well as the UCISD Chief of Police, resigning.
Families of the victims of the Robb Elementary School Shooting announced last month that they were suing the Texas Department of Public Safety over the State Trooper's response to the tragedy.
