One week ago, the Summer Olympic games wrapped up.But soon, another wave of athletes from all over the world will be competing in Paris for the Paralympic Games
Shelby Dale is a member of the UTSA Sports Medicine Staff and primarily works with the women's soccer team .
In 2018, Shelby began applying with the United State Olympic and Paralympic Committee to serve as an athletic trainer."That's kinda when people started talking about Paris," said Dale. "To me, Paris seemed out of reach. It was coming too quickly.""Hearing people talk about Paris, Paris I'm like. 'Oh this is possible, this could really happen.'" said Dale."My email finally came through," said Dale.
