UTSA football player Nick Booker-Brown was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, court records show. The alleged robberies occurred Feb. 3. Booker-Brown, 23, was arrested at 11:40 p.m. by San Antonio police and was brought before a judge at Bexar County ’s central magistration complex early Friday morning, records show. He was released after Bexar County Magistrate Edith Brown set bond at $75,000 on each count of aggravated robbery.
Booker-Brown, a redshirt junior defensive lineman from Houston’s Westfield High, has played at UTSA since 2022, when he arrived as a transfer from N.C. State. He appeared in all 13 games for the Roadrunners in 2023, ranking third on the team in sacks and tackles for loss . “We are aware of the situation regarding Nick Booker-Brown and are currently gathering more information,” a UTSA spokesperson said in a statement.
