UTSA athletics will be entering a new apparel partnership with Nike next year, the program announced Wednesday, marking a shift after being tied to Adidas since 2013. Game One will become the Roadrunners ’ new supplier, adding to a portfolio of more than 130 universities nationally. “We are excited to partner with Nike and Game One ,” UTSA athletic director Lisa Campos said in a statement.
This agreement will continue to elevate the brand recognition and visibility of both UTSA and UTSA Athletics.” The arrangement takes effect June 2 and covers six years with a pair of two-year options, per a UTSA spokesperson. Financial terms of the agreement were not immediately disclosed. “What a time to align with UTSA Athletics,” Game One Vice President of Collegiate Sales Tim McMurray said in a statement.
