The popular ESPN pre-game football broadcast came to Salt Lake City ahead of the Utah-Oregon game.

Utah Utes fans are gathered at Presidents Circle on the campus of the University of Utah as College GameDay is in town, ahead of the Utah-Oregon game on Saturday, October 28, 2023. ahead of the marquee matchup Saturday between the Utah Utes and the Oregon Ducks.

By late afternoon, students and fans were already setting up camp in the shadow of the iconic College GameDay set to stake out their spots for the big broadcast Saturday morning. “It’s fantastic. This is the showcase of college football pregame shows,” Kirk said. “We’re just grateful to have the spotlight on Salt Lake City, on the University of Utah, on this football program.”

“We’re going to roast it over a spit for 10 hours,” Sutterfield said, “and hopefully it turns out good.”
