A Wasatch County man was one of eight snowboarders selected to represent Team USA in the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games. Joe Pleban will make his Paralympic snowboard debut, after losing part of his leg to a rare joint disease in 2014. “My left ankle, I broke it when I was wakeboarding the day after my high school graduation and it never really healed,” the 35-year-old Midway man explained. “Doctors stuck a camera in it and found out I had thousands of these tiny little tumors within the ankle joint that were kind of eating away at it.”Developer asking Springville residents what they want brought to 'Allen's Block' A Wasatch County man was one of eight snowboarders selected to represent Team USA in the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.
