Utah is kicking off the week with the potential for more flash floods.
Southern Utah is facing elevated flash flood risks while scattered microbursts threaten northern and central parts of the state, the National Weather Service warned.
The weather service advised people to to stay clear of slot canyons, dry washes, and small streams, which are expected to experience flash flooding. Forecasters predict showers and thunderstorms capable of producing strong, gusty winds in excess of 50 mph.
