"It’s a humbling thing to be a part of and it hits home for a lot of us as law enforcement officers.
The list of officers from multiple agencies across the state wanting to stand guard for Hooser filled up quickly. While it is an honor to stand watch, Cornia said there are mixed feelings when standing next to the remains of a fallen officer.
