The Utah Hockey Club is set to finalize its team identity through a fan-driven voting process at its home arena. Fans will choose between three name options and two logo designs, shaping the future look and feel of the franchise.
The Utah Hockey Club is currently undergoing a rebranding initiative for the 2025-26 season, aiming to solidify a permanent team name . The franchise initially attempted to secure the ' Utah Yetis' name and logo but faced hurdles due to potential confusion with the well-established Yeti Coolers LLC brand. To involve the fanbase in this crucial decision, the club has planned in-person voting at its home arena during the next four games.
Fans attending these games at the Delta Center will have the opportunity to cast their votes on tablets strategically placed around the arena.The voting process will commence on Wednesday night as the Utah Hockey Club hosts the Pittsburgh Penguins. The club will be playing at home for each of the following four games against the Columbus Blue Jackets, St. Louis Blues, and Philadelphia Flyers. After these games, the voting period will conclude. Four name options have been shortlisted for fan consideration: Utah Mammoth, Utah Wasatch, and Utah Hockey Club.
