A Utah football player has apologized for his comments ahead of this weekend's rivalry game.
On Monday evening, the Utes ’ junior running back was asked about the significance of the return of the in-state rivalry. He did not mince any words.
“Excuse my language, but it’s f--- BYU,” Glover said. “I’ve never been a part of the Cold War, but I’m excited, man, and looking forward to the opportunity to be out there, to go fight and battle with the guys.“I wanted to apologize for the language I used during post-practice media tonight,” Glover said on his X account, the app formerly known as Twitter. “It doesn’t represent who I am or our program and was a lapse in my judgment.
