Andy Ludwig to step down as the #Utes offensive coordinator, the program announced on Sunday night:
“Assistant coach Andy Ludwig has made the decision to step down from his position with Utah Football,” Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham said in a statement Sunday night.
“Andy is the consummate professional and we want to thank him for his complete dedication to our program during his 10 total seasons with us. Coach Ludwig has been instrumental to our success here at Utah and personally, I have a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for Andy as both a coach and a person. We wish him nothing but the best in all of his future endeavors.”
Ludwig has been with the program since 2019, helping lead Utes to back-to-back Pac-12 championships in 2021 and 2022. Utah’s offense has struggled since then, ranking second to last in the Pac-12 in total offense in 2023 and now second to last in total offense in the Big 12. The Utes are slated to take on Houston at 5 p.m. MT next Saturday in Houston, Texas.To fight protections for wolves, Utah gave a nonprofit $5M.
