The Salt Lake County DA is pushing for state law to change to protect vulnerable adults after a Utah man repeatedly raped his severely-disabled stepdaughter.
Salt Lake City District Attorney Sam Gill talks to KUTV about the need to strengthen sentencing minimums for sexual assault against vulnerable adults . after a Utah man repeatedly raped his severely-disabled stepdaughter.
From my perspective, hell is too good of a place for somebody like that," Gill said after hearing what Urban did to his stepdaughter. Gill said if a rapist is found guilty, the severity of the punishment differs if the victim is an adult or a child.But what about vulnerable adults like Ashley?
