Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes released a statement Wednesday answering media questions about if he knew anything about sexual assault allegations made agains

WASHINGTON, DC - AUGUST 27: Attorney General of Utah Sean Reyes arrives onstage to pre-record his address to the Republican National Convention at the Mellon Auditorium on August 27, 2020 in Washington, DC. The convention is being held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic but includes speeches from various locations including Charlotte, North Carolina, Washington, DC, and Baltimore, Maryland.

For weeks, 2News has been after answers as to what Reyes knew about the accusations, including whether his office was aware of criminal complaints involving Ballard., “The AG has no knowledge of how or if his name or title may have been used to add credibility to the misconduct alleged in the Complaint. If the allegations are true, and had he known of such alleged behavior, he would not have allowed use of his name and would have strongly condemned such actions.

In 2015, Reyes joined Ballard on a sting operation in Columbia with OUR, since that time the two have remained close making public appearances together working to raise awareness and funding to stop human trafficking.
