Louis’s artwork draws heavily from his Polynesian heritage, bringing traditional designs to life through bold colors and intricate patterns. "A lot of inspiration in my artwork comes from my culture," Louis explains, identifying as Fijian, Tongan, and Samoan. His latest project, a mural for a tattoo shop in downtown Salt Lake City, features traditional Polynesian tattoo art known as 'Tattow,' connecting him with his ancestors.What began as school doodles evolved into a passion for graffiti while Louis was living in California. "When I paint, it’s therapeutic for me. I don’t think about anything else but creating," he shares.
Today, Louis’s work can be seen across Utah—from malls and local shops to professional sports teams like the Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club. "Last year, I did a decade mural of the 50 years of Jazz games," he reflects. With each mural, Louis aims to inspire and enrich Utah’s public art scene, believing that cultural expression through art is crucial. "As you see Salt Lake grow, more art pieces are going up. I want more art because culture comes with it," he emphasizes.
