Panelists at the inaugural State of the Art Jewelry Summit presented ways to use art and storytelling to create desirability for jewels produced in a sustainable manner
Jewelry designer, Alexandra Mor, also emphasized the importance of storytelling. “A good story is a true story,” she says.
“Giving access to consumers allows them to make educated decisions,” she says. “It’s one of the keys to building a strong community.” “Preciousness means different things to different people,” she says. “Jewelry is an art form. It’s about ideas. It can be a combination of precious and non-precious materials. It’s a need to express oneself.”
