For sale: Continuing this week's theme of 'people who got carried away with the interior options list', there's... this Lexus LFA.
The first prototype LF-A was completed in June 2003 and extensively tested and developed at the Nürburgring, Germany. The production version, announced in 2009 features the Toyota/Yamaha developed 553hp V10 engine which was exclusive to the LFA. Using aluminium pistons, forged titanium con-rods, and solid titanium valves the engine red-lines at 9,000rpm and when it is screaming over 7,500rpm is said to sound like an F1 engine.
The body and chassis construction is of aeronautical grade carbon fibre reinforced polymer with aluminium front and rear, removable subframes. Every car was made to each individual customers specification and limited to just 500 cars. Production ended in December 2012. This is car no. 20, chassis no. #000019, made to order for a car collector and Lexus main dealer in 'Middle East LHD' configuration and delivered in 2011. Body colour is Pearl White and the interior incorporates carbon fibre, lilac and cerise leather, alcantara, metallic surfaces, and white leather seats. It has covered 14,825 km. It comes with completed NOVA documents, letter confirming it complies with European emissions and UK HMRC taxes have been paid.
