The next step toward 2024 Olympics gold for USA Basketball is a Tuesday quarterfinal against Brazil.

As expected, the star-powered United States team has flexed its muscle to this point at the 2024 Olympics, tearing through Group C with wins over Serbia , South Sudan and Puerto Rico by an average of 21.3 points. The Americans remain heavy favorites to win their fifth straight men’s basketball gold medal with a deep group built around LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and a host of other NBA stars.
Meanwhile, Brazil was a game competitor in Group B with quality losses to France and Germany and a 102-84 win over Japan that clinched a spot in the quarterfinal round. Forward Bruno Caboclo delivered a monster effort in that win, scoring 33 points to go with 17 rebounds in 30 minutes of action.The United States and Brazil are set for a 3:30 p.m. ET start on USA Network.
