The United States women’s basketball team takes on Australia in Friday’s semifinal round at the 2024 Olympics looking to finish its run to a fifth straight gold medal.

Australia went undefeated in a tough Group B and thumped Serbia, 85-67, in the quarterfinals to set up Friday’s big matchup with the United States. Four players scored in double figures for the Aussies in that win over Serbia, led by Alanna Smith’s 22 points and 13 rebounds. Those four scorers accounted for 73 of Australia’s 85 points in the winning effort.The United States and Australia are set for an 11:30 a.m. ET start on NBC.
