Shares of USA Today parent Gannett Co. Inc. gained 1.1% in premarket trading Thursday, after the media company reported reported second-quarter losses that narrowed from a year ago and boosted its full-year bottom-line outlook. Net losses narrowed to $12.7 million, or 9 cents a share, from $53.7 million, or 39 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Revenue fell 10.2% to $672.36 million, as advertising and marketing services revenue declined 7.9% to $353.
