Friday is a big day for USA track and field with opportunities for both the men’s and women’s 4x100 relay teams set to compete in afternoon finals races.

The women’s 4x100 is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. ET and the men’s race goes off at 1:47 p.m. ET withPeacock The USA women’s 4x100-meter relay team features 100-meter silver medalist Sha’Carri Richardson in the anchor leg of a group that included 200-meter gold medalist Gabrielle Thomas along with Melissa Jefferson and Twanisha Perry in Thursday’s heat win. While Great Britain has the fastest time of the season to date, USA enters the finals with the fastest heats time .
The USA men also posted the fastest heats time in the 4x100 with a 37.47 to win the first group despite the absence of Olympic 100-meter champ Noah Lyles to focus on the 200-meter finals, where he won bronze.
