A US-themed bar and restaurant with a sister venue in Benidorm has opened on one of Liverpool's most historic streets.
During the evening the Georgian Quarter venue is promising steaks and ribs as well as "Smokey platters" and desserts including sundaes. As well as serving food, Smokey Joe’s will also host live music and show sporting events on screens. A spokesperson for the venue said it is family-friendly and dog-friendly. Bernie Stapleton, proprietor of Smokey Joe’s said: "We have already been so busy since our soft launch, and look forward to the summer months when we will be opening our doors to clients - no velvet rope required.
