SHAH ALAM:The investigation and efforts to gather the wreckage of Beechcraft 390 aircraft, which crashed near Shah Alam, are being resumed by the Air Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB).
Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the AAIB's probe is also being assisted by a team of experts from the United States."They will be here between seven and 10 days.
"We believe the investigation process will take some time as various small components are still at the crash site," he told a press conference on Monday.Among others who will be at the crash site are representatives from the aircraft company and an insurance company from Singapore.ACP Mohd Iqbal said all evidence will be brought to a hanger for further investigation and analysis.
"We believe the process to gather the wreckage of the aircraft will be completed by today based on the information received from the AAIB. "The police will still be at the scene to monitor the location as we don't want any unauthorised activity or individuals at the scene," he said.
