Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced a new agreement to house American troops and military supplies in the Pacific.
The Heritage Foundation's Lt. Col. James Carafano says there is good news and bad news after China sends 71 planes and seven ships toward Taiwan in 24 hours on 'Your World.'
During a joint press conference, Marcos commented on the"complicated" situation in the Pacific and said his country was reliant on the strength of the U.S. and the partnership between the two countries to prevent tensions from escalating into a potential military conflict. "The EDCA is a key pillar of the US-Philippines alliance, which supports combined training, exercises, and interoperability between our forces," the U.S. and the Philippines said.
