One day after she was found, she “Thank you to everyone for keeping me in your prayers, for every candle you lit, and for not losing faith,” she said in Spanish. Pardo is a U.S.-Mexico dual citizen who splits her time between Phoenix and Culiacan, about 600 miles south, according to her posts. She has more than 200,000 followers on Instagram and profiles on several other social media sites, including TikTok and OnlyFans. Shortly after the kidnapping, Mexican authorities said Pardo’s kidnapping could have been related to cartel disputes in Sinaloa.
