MANILA, Philippines — The United States has donated P54.8 million worth of sustainment supplies to the Bureau of Fire Protection in Quezon City, its embassy in Manila said. In a statement on Tuesday, the embassy said the supplies would be used to assist BFP to “fulfill their mandate” as the country’s chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear response agency.“The BFP is also one of the primary agencies conducting decontamination and response activities during the COVID-19 pandemic,” the embassy said.
