In a statement on Monday, the US Embassy said this brings the overall US assistance to the Philippines for COVID-19 response efforts to nearly P981 million .The distribution of the PPEs was coursed through the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and in coordination with the U.S. Agency for International Development, according to the Embassy.

“This delivery of PPE demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the Philippines to stop COVID-19,” US Ambassador to the Philippines Sung Kim said.
