As we get closer to the release time, here are the forecasts by the economists and researchers of 10 major banks regarding the upcomingAnnual CPI inflation in the US is forecast to stay unchanged at 5% in April. On a monthly basis, it is expected to rise 0.4% vs. 0.1% in March. The Core CPI, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, is expected to rise 0.3% month-on-month vs. 0.4% in March, while the year-on-year rate is expected to fall a tick to 5.5%.
