It's thought Brazilian Butt Lifts and boob jobs are being offered in the city
An urgent warning has been issued to people seeking cosmetic procedures including Brazilian Butt Lifts and breast augmentation.
The council issued the warning on Wednesday , saying the procedures ‘may be taking place this week in Manchester in non-clinical settings’. Officers believe the surgeries could be taking place in hotel rooms. That presents a risk to infection control, medics believe, prompting the authority to issue the urgent warning to would-be customers. A statement said: “The Council has been made aware that certain cosmetic procedures – specifically Filler Brazilian Butt Lift breast augmentation – may be taking place this week in Manchester in non-clinical settings.
A Brazilian Butt Lift typically involves doctors transferring fat from a patient’s belly, hips, lower back, or thighs to their buttocks. It’s done in an effort to create an hourglass figure, and also goes by the names ‘gluteal fat grafting, buttock augmentation with fat grafting, and safe subcutaneous buttock augmentation ’.
Breast augmentation, colloquially known as a ‘boob job’, typically involves changing the shape of a patient’s breasts. This can be done to enlarge both, or adjust for a difference in size between breasts.
